Really enjoyed our meal at Dahlak. The food was tasty and felt really authentic, especially the injera and the stews. Relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great spot if you’re looking to try something different in Rotterdam. We will definitely be coming back!

We went there yesterday. It was very nice. The staff is very friendly and speak English. Atmosphere was also pleasant. Prices are very affordable and the quantities enough to make you happy. Also the food is fresh and tasty. We took the dahlak island combi. It was delicious. For sure we will go back again

Lekker Afrikaans eten! Wij hadden het gerecht met verschillende kleine gerechten op de Afrikaanse pannenkoek. Veel van de verschillende gerechten waren heerlijk. Toiletten waren schoon. Tussen de tafels door lopen was moeilijk.

The restaurant is a lovely, cozy authentic one. The service was very good, fast even though we were with a group of 16 people. Also to mention that the co-workers were kind and the atmosphere was relaxed with authentic music. I’m sure that I will visit this restaurant more often. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The staff was very friendly and food was delicious. The portions were big and we didn’t manage to finish it all. Furthermore, its very affordable and just all around a great establishment. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be back soon 🙂

I love this place! The food and service were outstanding. The food has a home cooking flavour that it is really nostalgic. The food was fresh and flavoursome. The injera (bread) was very delicious as well. The serving size are very generous. The mix dish has a great ration of meat and veggies. I am new to the city and it is the only Restaurant where I have returned. It really tastes like home.
